​Meet Camilla

 

I’ll forever remember the bus ride I took on Christmas Eve 2018. It was a sweltering tropical day as the tea hills of Sri Lanka rolled by the open windows. The bus was jam packed and I’d been standing squashed upright for two hours with no hope of a seat in sight. 

 

But - I barely noticed. 

 

I held a used book on Reiki that I’d picked up from a hotel’s swap and share library. It had come to me by divine providence - an omen that I was now ready to pursue this healing art that I’d heard of over the years but had no clear concept of. 
 

With my eyes closed I summoned a flow of energy to emanate from my hands and out to everyone on the bus. I felt the heat, I felt the tingle, I was ready. 

 

6 months later I completed my Usui Reiki level 1 & 2 ocean side in Arugam Bay. During my thirty day practice, while giving Reiki to my solar plexus chakra, a suction of energy released and my body jolted a few inches off the bed. It was a pivotal moment for me that revealed the potency of this energy healing method.

In May 2021 I found myself curiously and powerfully drawn to Holy Fire Reiki. It is an upgrade to the Usui Reiki energy, channeled from a higher state of consciousness. I completed my Holy Fire Reiki Master training online and taught my first set of students a month later. 

​

As life goes - my dad was diagnosed with lymphatic cancer at the same time and spent a month critically ill in ICU. It was not certain whether he would survive. I gave him Reiki multiple times a day both in person and at a distance and charged a crystal with Reiki that I placed next to his hospital bed. He made a full recovery and I am convinced that the Reiki energy, complementary to the chemotherapy he underwent, guided his body to heal itself. 
 

I have since settled in New Zealand and become a mother and the Holy Fire Reiki has lovingly guided me along this challenging journey. It has helped me to find peace with a birth that was everything I did not want it to be- slowly revealing the spiritual purpose behind it.

 

The Holy Fire has been my clearest pathway in accessing deeper layers of my intuition - truly the most important tool in a mother’s kit. And of course - channelling Reiki gives me a profound ability to help soothe my child and connect to her on a soul level.
